Lois Louise Gamel, 57, a resident of Las Vegas, NM passed away on Friday. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Shirley Berkheimer. She is survived by her husband, Tim Gamel of Las Vegas, NM; three daughters: Tabatha Packett and children Tyler, Brandon,and Timmy of Pawnee City, NE, Tanya Griego and husband Derrick and their children Mia, Isabella, and Aspen of Guadalupita, NM, and Samantha Gamel and partner Samuel of Albuquerque, NM; two sons: Michael McClintock and child Courtney of Nebraska, and Cory Gamel of Las Vegas, NM; three brothers: Donald Martenson and wife Judy and William Martenson and Randy Berkheimer and wife Judy all of Columbus, NE; three sisters: Laura Gibbs, and Mary Parker of Dallas, TX, and Terry McClintock of Nebraska.
She was born on August 17, 1960 in Belvidere, Illinois and married Tim Gamel on January 24, 1992 in Beatrice, Nebraska. She loved her grand kids and enjoyed playing games on her cell phone and had a quiet personality. She was an avid Nebraska Corn Husker fan and loved horses.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 in the Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel, 2315 Hot Springs Blvd. at 11:00 a.m. Pastor David Herrera from the Mora Valley Baptist Church will officiate. Graveside services will follow in the Masonic Cemetery with the following serving as casket bearers: Tim Gamel, Cory Gamel, Tony Rogers, Mike McClintock, Sam and Ben Ibarra-Chu.
