Paul R. Sandoval, 62, a resident of Las Vegas, NM passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mary Thelma Sandoval and a brother, Elmer Sandoval. He is survived by two daughters: Rebecca and Thelma Sandoval both of Las Vegas, NM; three grandchildren: Danielle Valdez, Adam Valdez Jr, and Nathan Padilla all of Las Vegas, NM; two brothers, Bobby Miller of Denver, CO and Johnny Montano and wife Nancy of Las Vegas, NM, and by one sister, Rebecca Madrid and husband Lee of Pueblo, CO.
Paul was born in Tecolote, NM on May 26, 1956. He was a security officer for the Department of Human Services and also the Chavez Security Company in Santa Fe, NM. He enjoyed fishing, doing Indian crafts, making puzzles, cooking and barbecuing and spending time with his daughters and grand kids. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was honorably discharged on May 27, 1977 from the Army of the United States at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina.
Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from the Santa Fe National Cemetery with military honors at 10:30 a.m.
