Amada H. Delgado

Amada Hurtado Delgado, age 101, passed away at Ponderosa I at the New Mexico Behavorial Institute on Thursday. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Emelia Mondragon Hurtado; her husband, Jose Ignacio Delgado; a son, Robert Delgado, and a grandson, Brian.She is survived by a sister, Antonia Apodaca of Springer, NM; two half-sisters, Josephine Bustos of Mora, NM and Melecia Vigil of Albuquerque, NM; a brother, Pedro Hurtado; two granddaughters: Lisa Trujillo and husband Ron of Santa Fe, NM and Cynthia Maestas and husband Daniel of Las Vegas and the following great-grandchildren: Shri Delgado, Robert Delgado, Marcus Delgado, Brianna Delgado, Jaymes Delgado, Brian Maestas, Marisa Trujillo, Aubrey Maestas, and Christian Trujillo.Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with a rosary this evening at 7:00 p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. Father C. John Brasher will celebrate the Mass. The interment will follow in the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
