AMALIA C. RIVERA
Amalia C. Rivera, 93, a long time resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Tuesday at the Presbyterian Hospital Downtown in Albuquerque following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nicanor and Cleofas Vigil Cruz; her husband, Gilbert Rivera; and two sisters, Fedelina Flores and Catalina Coca. She is survived by one daughter, Cleo Rivera of Las Vegas; a granddaughter, Gloria Rivera of Las Vegas, NM; nephews: Dan Rudolph and wife Rosina of Albuquerque, Eluid Santistevan and wife Ida of Las Vegas, John Coca and Joe Coca and wife Connie of Las Vegas, John Rudolph and wife Susan of Las Vegas, and Richard Roybal and wife Viola of Albuquerque; two nieces, Grace Duran and husband Tony of Roswell, NM, Terri Cordrey and husband Oren of Albuquerque, NM; a god daughter, Diane Segura and husband Nash of Las Vegas, NM; a god son, Glen Coca and wife Bertha of Las Vegas, NM; and a cousin, Theresa Martinez of Las Vegas, NM.
Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with a rosary on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Facher C.
