Annie Marie (Guerin) Garcia

Annie Marie Garcia, 65, a long time resident of Las Vegas was called by the Lord on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emelio and Tomasita Cashmore Guerin; sisters: Georgia Trujillo, Consuelo Quintana, Stella Garcia, and Bessie Martinez; brothers: Narciso Guerin and David Guerin; and brothers-in-law, George Lucero and Daniel Quintana.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Shirley Ritchie and husband Any of Belen, NM; one son, Marvin Garcia of San Diego, CA; two sisters: Filomena Quintana and husband Adan and Frances Lucero all of Las Vegas, NM; one brother, Joe Guerin of Las Vegas; two brothers-in-law, Margarito Trujillo of Garden Grove, CA and Louie Martinez of Las Vegas, NM; and the following grandchildren: Marcus, Joseph, Kris, Bessie, Rita, Seth, Frankie, Audrey, Angelina, and Russell Jr. all of Belen, NM.She was born in Las Vegas on March 12, 1942 and graduated from Robertson High School. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt to many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed singing as she sang in the choir at Meadows Hospital. She had worked there in the cafeteria and was a hospital attendant at one time. She was a good cook and baker. A lifelong catholic, she was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.
Services will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church with a rosary this evening at 7:00 p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. Father George V. Salazar will celebrate the Mass. The interment will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Serving as casket bearers will be her grandchildren: Ron Montoya, Ron Gallegos, Ryan Furry, John Ludi, Melanie Ludi, and Jennifer Muniz.
