Anthony "" (Tone) Otero

Beloved son, father, brother, soul mate and friend, Anthony (Tone) Lee Adrian Otero, 29, a life long resident of Las Vegas, NM, passed away on Sunday as a result of an automobile accident. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernabe and Beatrice Otero and Sylvia Valdez.
He is survived by his parents, Deborah Otero-Montano of Mesa, AZ, Tony Valdez of Las Vegas, NM, and Antonio Montaño of Moreno Valley, CA, and his soulmate of 10 years, Amanda "Bear" Salazar of Las Vegas, NM; three daughters: Amaris (Ami), Aliana (Ali), and Azzreya (Azzy) Otero all of Las Vegas, NM; four brothers: Fabian Valdez and Zenas Montaño both of Moreno Valley, CA, and Justin and Cristian Valdez both of Las Vegas, NM; three sisters: Zoey Montaño of Mesa, AZ and Luna Montaño of Moreno Valley, CA, and Marissa Valdez and her companion, Ernesto Duran of Las Vegas, NM; a niece, Khloe Alberta Valdez of Las Vegas, NM, and many other friends and family.
Anthony resided in Moreno Valley, CA and Las Vegas, NM and was attending Luna Community College. He was working on building a career in the music industry and starting up business for himself. He was a hip hop artist.
A visitation will be held on Friday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in St. Francis Chapel at Gonzales Funerals & Cremations, 2315 Hot Springs Blvd. A service celebrating his life will be held in St. Francis Chapel on Friday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. from the Immaculate Conception Church. Father George V. Salazar will celebrate the Mass. The interment will follow in the Compesanto de San Antonio Cemetery. Serving as casket bearers will be Ernesto Duran, Raul Aragon, Jonathan Tapia, John Ortiz, Jose Frara, and Don .
Honorary bearers will be Nathan Wildenstein, Cristian Fernandez, Joel Luna, Jacqueline Griego, Jeremy Romero, Max Morales, Andrew Salazar, Steven Martinez, Marcus Lovato, and Mark Bowie.
