Benjamin Arguello

Benjamin Arguello, 51, a lifelong resident of Las Vegas was called to be with our Lord on Monday, September 10, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Gallegos and Aurelia Arguello-Barela; brothers: Felix Barela, Johnny Arguello, and Stanley "Tane" Barela; nephews: Mike Trujillo and Perry Trujillo; and a niece, Debbie Trujillo.He is survived by his daughter, Darlene Arguello and fiancée Daryl Trujillo of Las Vegas, NM; one son, Benny Arguello and fiancée Marie Solano; three grandchildren, Shannon Garcia, Brandon Trujillo, and Kaitlin Arguello all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Flora Lujan and husband Robert, Angie Trujillo, and Lydia Jacquez all of Las Vegas, NM; three brothers, Christy Arguello and wife Sandra of Las Vegas, NV, Patrick Arguello, and Domingo "Cante" Barela both of Las Vegas, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews.He was born on August 21, 1956. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed reading the bible and playing the drums. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Father C. John Brasher will celebrate the Mass. The interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
