Candida (Trujillo) Sedillo

Candida Sedillo, 92, a native of Tecolote, NM passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband Manuel Sedillo. She is survived by her son, Ralph Sedillo and wife Lucy; daughters: Carmen Baca and husband Elias, Dilia Sedillo and husband Margarito, Eulalia Chavez and husband Tony, and Evelyn Abeyta and husband Henry; grandchildren: Dolores Saunders and husband Dave, Georgia Thompson and husband Larry, Jim Baca and wife Monica,Nadine Hamby, Naomi Sedillo,Rik Abeyta, Michael Chavez and wife Jessica, Mark Sedillo and wife Melissa, Kenny Chavez and wife Elaine, and Karen Abeyta; great-grandchildren: Ashley Sedillo (mother Laurel), Sarah and Erika Hamby (father Troy), Darian Sedillo (mother Akasa), Austin Abeyta (father Luis), T. J. Apodaca (father Jose) Robert and Antonio Chavez, Xavier Chavez, and Leilani Sedillo; special niece Flora Duran and husband David and their children Leroy, Steven and Dilia; brother Isaias Trujillo; sister-in-law, Rita Trujillo; friend Jesse Gutierrez and numerous relatives and friends.
Cremation has taken place and services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 beginning with a rosary at 8:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial. Father Douglas Mitchell will celebrate the Mass. The interment will follow in Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery in Tecolote, NM. Her grandchildren will serve as honorary bearers.
