Charles Williams

On July 1, 2009 Charles Williams was called to be with the Lord after a lengthy illness. Charles was born in Sledge, Mississippi to Addie and John Williams who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was his older brother Al Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Williams; his daughter, Dina Williams and her daughter Chiyanne Williams; his son, Darren Williams and Yvette Tunner and their children, Devonna, Devon, Darion, and Dijonay Williams; and the first grand baby to be born soon all of Las Vegas, NM. He is also survived by his sister, Ether Allen and husband John of Rialto, CA; and by two brothers: Eddie Williams and wife Barbara of Hawthorne, CA, and Stanley Williams of Palm Desert, CA.
Charles and Carol lived in Palm Desert, CA where Charles owned his own clothing boutique renowned as Charles of the Desert, where he coordinated and tailored some of the most famous people in the world. They then moved to Las Vegas, NM where he founded Charlie's Rib BBQ Restaurant and started producing his world famous BBQ sauce. He loved God, he loved his family and friends, Las Vegas and the people and the weather. He enjoyed fishing, color-coordinating clothing, and cooking. He was an avid Laker and Bronco fan. He was loved and will be missed dearly. A memorial service may be held at a later date.
