Corina G. (Gonzales) Lopez

Corina G. Lopez, 94, a resident of Denver, Colorado and formerly of Trujillo, NM passed away on Monday at St. Anthony's Central Hospital in Denver, CO following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hilario and Carmelita Encinias Gonzales; her first husband, Margarito Archuleta in 1941 and her second husband, Alberto Lopez in 1991; a son, Abelino Archuleta and three infant children: Jose Eusebio, LeRoy, and Juanita Archuleta; sisters: Isabel Marquez, Carmelita Roybal and husband Alberto, Severa Archuleta and husband Salomon, Antonia Garcia and husband Jose, and Adela Ramirez and husband Eustacio; brothers: Arsenio Gonzales and wife Anita, Victor Gonzales and wife Emilia, and Maguin Gonzales and wife Anita.
She is survived by one daughter, Evan Gonzales and husband Carlos of Denver, CO; one son, Ralph Archuleta and wife Joann of Trujillo, NM; two sisters: Rosa Vigil and husband Ernesto of Colorado Springs, CO and Mary Sanchez and husband Pete of Pueblo, CO; one brother, Jose Hilario Gonzales and wife Mary of Colorado Springs, CO; a sister-in-law, Severa Lopez of Albuquerque, NM; a daughter-in-law, Loreta Starum of Granby, CO; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren..
She was born in Trementina, NM on April 5, 1915. She received her early education here in Las Vegas, NM and was a life long catholic. She was also a member of Our Lady of
Guadalupe Church in Denver and Our Lady of Guadalupe Society in Denver, CO. She loved to crochet and sew and play bingo.
Services will be held from Our Lady of Sorrows Church with a rosary on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. Father C. John Brasher will celebrate the Mass. The interment will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Tuloso, NM.
