Flora A. (Aragon) Romero

Flora A. Romero, 88, a life long resident of Las Vegas and a retired public school teacher, passed away at her home on Thursday following a long illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melaquias and Josefita Manzanares Aragon; her husband Gilbert Romero; a sister, Mary Maes and a brother, Morris Aragon.
She is survived by her daughter, Stella Helvie of Las Vegas; grandsons, and a great-grand daughter. Services will be held from Our Lady of Sorrows Church with a rosary on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. The interment will follow in the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45 P. M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Heating and Air Conditioning Fund at Our Lady of Sorrows Church or to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite #1509, New York, NY 10018.
