Florinda Ruby (Chavez) Jaramillo

Florinda Ruby Jaramillo, 73, a resident of Las Vegas, NM, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021.  She was born on June 27, 1947 in Las Vegas, NJM. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Casey Arturo Jaramillo Sr.; her parents Cristobal Chavez and Epimenia Lucero; and her sister Josie Lucero.

            She is survived by her 13 loving children: Carol Jaramillo (David), Shirley Saiz (Johnny), Jeanette Garcia (Ted), Ernestine Lopez (Carlos), Casey Jaramillo Jr. (Laura), Cristobal Jaramillo (Crystal), Frank Jaramillo, Angelo Jaramillo, Esmeralda Jaramillo (Ray), Amanda Romero (Frank), Gilbert Jaramillo (Sonya), Sandra Melgar (Daniel), Jesse Jaramillo, raised like a son; two sisters-in-laws:  Cecilia Montano and Cecelia Jaramillo all of Las Vegas; eighteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Anthony Ortiz Jr.

            Florinda spent her life as a fulltime loving wife, mother, and homemaker.  She enjoyed family gatherings, gambling with friends and watching her family grow.  Her favorite flower were roses. Florinda spent a blessed life making wonderful memories with her loving husband, Casey and their 13 children with their families with open arms. She loved everyone who came into her life.  She treated family & friends as though they were her children.  Her loving demeanor and sweet smile will forever be missed and always be remembered as a true angel here on earth.  We were truly blessed to have been born and raised by her.
