Gerrie Joyce (Griego) Aragon

                        Jerrie Joyce Aragon, age 66, a longtime resident of Las Vegas, NM, formerly pf Paramount, CA, has gone to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 20, 2025.  Gerrie was born to her parents Jose Griego and Adelina Griego Valdez on April 13, 1959 in Lynwood, CA.  Gerri was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

            Anyone who knew our Mom knew she had a spicy vocabulary and a unique way of expressing herself in every situation.  More than that she was amazing at loving so many people and making each one of feel special to her.  Gerri is preceded in death to her father Jose Griego and grandparents Carolina and Alejandro Muniz and Elvira Montoya.

            Gerri is survived by her mother Adelina Griego Valdez of Las Vegas, NM; her husband of 50 years Donald Aragon Sr. of Las Vegas, NM; sons:  Donald Aragon Jr. (Linda) of Las Vegas, NM, Joseph Aragon Sr. (Tina) of Augusta, KS; daughters:  Yvette Aragon (Rob) of Sheridan, NM, Andrea Aragon and Reyes of Las Vegas, NM and Tammy Marrujo of Las Vegas, NM; grandchildren:  Angelica, Maria, Donald III, Joseph Jr., Kylie, Makayla, Logan, Devin, Emilee, Tyson, Jordan, Amor, Tircio Jr., Nickaya, Paige, Lance Jr., Reyes Jr., Miguel and Mikaelu and 20 great-grandchildren; sisters:  Mary Agnes Duran (Manuel) of Las Vegas, NM, Cynthis Branch (Frank) of Montezuma, NMs; brother, Diego Griego (Charmaine)  of Montezuma, NM; and countless nieces, nephews, God-children, cousins and other family  and friends. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church on May 30, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.  A gathering will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Elks Lodge in Las Vegas, NM.
