Gloria Wiggins (Salas) Nathan

Gloria “Eva” Wiggins-Nathan, 56, a resident of Las Vegas, NM passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the Sandoval County Medical Center in Rio Rancho, NM.  She was preceded in death by her father, Albino Salas in1971, a brother Sef Salas in 1995; grandparents:  Adelaido and Martha T. Salas and Samuel and Andalecia Pacheco.

            She is survived by her husband Dennis of the family home; one son, Alex Martinez (Mary) of Albuquerque, NM; daughters: Alexandria Lucero (Jessie) and Chantelle Wiggins (Jake) of Las Vegas, NM; step-son Bart Nathan of Sacramento, CA; grandchildren:  Antonio and Arianna Lucero of Anton Chico, NM; her mother, Lupe Gold of Las Vegas, NM; sister Diana Archuleta of Rio Rancho, NM; brother Valentin Salas of Las Vegas, NM; nieces:  Bryanna Salas,  Zoe Salas, and Alexis Sanchez; Nephews:  Tommy, Jeffrey, Kevin, and Aaron Archuleta, Brandon Salas, Alden Quintana; and friends Karen Sena and Veronica Rivera.

            Gloria was born on November 14, 1964 in Los Ojitos Frios, NM to the late Albino Salas and Lupe Gold.  She attended West Las Vegas Schools and from there continued studying at Luna Community College to become a dental assistant which she attained in August of 1986.  She started her career working for Dr. Pacheco, then worked at Collins Dental and lastly was at Sanchez Dental. She loved her job, that was always a passion of hers.  Throughout this time she gave birth to two beautiful children, Alex Martinez and Alexandria Lucero, then later on her daughter Chantelle Wiggins.  She was united in marriage on Dennis Nathan on September 14, 2019, the love of her life.  She loved riding motorcycles, traveling to different places, being an active member of the Elks Lodge coordinating birthdays, hanging out with family and friends.  She loved to joke around especially with her sister.  Cooking was a passion of hers and lastly enjoying her puppies, Emma and MO.  Gloria loved and was enjoying life to the fullest.  Her witty and contagious character was one of a kind.  She was caring and generous and her laughter and smile were contagious.  

            The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 28, 2020 at the Immaculate Conception Church.  Limitations will be for only 25 people including family and pallbearers with social distancing and masks required.  The Mass will be life streamed via facebook on www.facebook.com/ic.  Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy, Jeffrey, Kevin and Aaron Archuleta, Brandon Salas, and Leo Maestas.  Cremation will take place and the interment will be in the Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Go Fund Me Account for Gloria at Go Fund Me.com/gloria wiggins nathan.
