Gloria Urioste, 72, a resident of Las Vegas, passed away at Vida Encantada Nursing and Rehab Center on Tuesday. She was preceded in death by a son Steven Jiron and was born in Villanueva, NM on May 14, 1937.
She is survived by one daughter, Jeannie Urioste of Las Vegas, NM; one son, Richard Urioste and companion
Carmen Gallegos of Las Vegas; one brother, Placido Rivera and wife Rommie of Las Vegas; One sister, Josephine Gonzales and husband Arthur of Las Vegas, NM; 11 grandchildren: Jessica Urioste, Auritha
Roybal, Rico Martinez, Deanna Martinez, Charles Urioste, Kloe Jiron, Kyra Jiron, Leon Moncayo, Alicia Gallegos, Kyle and Ashley Williams; three great-grandchildren: Mark Palmer, Sonrisa Rubio, and Sean
ray Rubio; a daughter-in-law, Brenna Jiron of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and by numerous nieces and other relatives.
Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with a rosary this evening at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. Father C. John Brasher will celebrate the Mass. The interment will follow in Our Lady of
Guadalupe Cemetery in Villanueva, NM with the following serving as casket bearers: Earl and Clyde Gonzales, Jessica Urioste, Rita Roybal, Charles Urioste, and Rico Martinez.
