Jerry James

Jerry L. James, 82, a life long resident of Las Vegas, passed away at Alta Vista Regional Hospital on Sunday, March 30, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and two older brothers. She is survived by her son, Douglas of Las Vegas as well as several nieces and nephews. She was born here in Las Vegas, NM on February 3, 1926 to the late Gilbert and Johanna Wildenstein Guerin. She had retired from the New Mexico State Hospital and was an administrative assistant there for many years. As a young woman she graduated from business school in southern California and worked as a secretary in New Jersey prior to coming to Las Vegas.The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated this afternoon at 2:00 p.m. from St. Francis Chapel at Gonzales Funerals & Cremations, 2315 Hot Springs Blvd. Father C. John Brasher celebrated the Mass. The interment followed in the Guerin Family Plot in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
