John Phillip Baca

John Phillip Baca, 66, a resident of Las Vegas, NM, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 following an extended illness.  He was born to Frank A. and Josephine Baca on November 24, 1952 in Las Vegas, NM.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Frank Baca Jr.

            He is survived by his brothers:  Edward Baca and wife, Adelina of Antioch, CA and Ray Baca; sisters, Rita Baca and Jeanette Yara and husband, Jake and a sister-in-law, Viola Garduno, all of Las Vegas, NM, several nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at  Our Lady of Sorrows Church.  Father Rob Yaksich will celebrate the Mass.  The Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be John Baca, Jake D. Yara, Jake M. Yara, Mario Vigil, Francisco Vigil, and Michael Baca.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Our Lady of Sorrows Church Building Fund.
