Obituary
Joseph “Taco” Tapia, 50, a resident of Las Vegas, NM, passed away on December 22, 2021 as result of Covid 19. His wife Monica Therese Tapia followed him in death also from Covid 19 on March 1, 2022. Joseph is survived by his parents, Jose and Paublita Tapia; a sister, Josephine Tapia; a grandson, Josiah Montoya-Tapia; two nephews: Robert Rivera and Xavier Jaramillo; a niece, Marija Jaramillo; and his grandmother, Trinidad Tapia.
He was born on May 5, 1971. He was the type of person who always spent most of his time with his family. He loved hunt and fish. He loves to always cruise his motorcycle with Monica. H was a very loving person and would take the shirt off of his back to anyone. His pride and joy was his grandson and family. He was a down to earth person full of joy and happiness a most caring and compassionate person to walk this earth.
The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, March 31, 2022 from the Immaculate Conception Church for both he and his wife Monica. Cremation has taken place
