Juan Enciso Vargas

Juan Enciso Vargas, 56, a resident of Las Vegas, NM and beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Christus St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Amador Enciso Garlardo and Felipa Vargas; and a son Randy. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Christina Baca Vargas of Las Vegas, NM: one son, John Enciso of Las Vegas, NM; a daughter, Melisa Enciso of Perris, CA; special granddaughters: Marisol Enciso and Angelina Enciso of Las Vegas, NM; two brothers: Ruben Ramirez and Guadalupe Enciso Vargas of Mexico; and by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in law.
He was born in Jalisco, Mexico on October 30, 1955 and owned and operated restaurants for 28 years in California and operated the California Kitchen Restaurant in the Mills Avenue Shopping Center for 4 years.
A visitation will be held today from 1:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. from St. Francis Chapel at Gonzales Funerals & Cremations. A rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. from Our Lady of Sorrows Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 14, 2011 from Our Lady of Sorrows Church. The interment will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery with the following serving as casketbearers: Eddie Gutierrez, Lawrence Candelaria, Michael and Joseph Valdez, Ramon Herrera, and Joseph Vigil.
