Kevin A. Gutierrez

Kevin A. Gutierrez, 32 a longtime resident of Las Vegas and Villanueva, New Mexico, went to be with our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ on February 15, 2021.  He was born in Santa Fe, NM on December 6, 1988 and was a lifelong Catholic.  He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Guadalupe (Lupe) Gutierrez; maternal grandparents: Felicitas Martinez and Agapito Maestas; and his paternal grandparents:  Cipriana Gallegos-Gutierrez and Guadalupe Pablo Gutierrez.  He is survived by his mother, Frances Maestas; sister, Adelaida Vigil-Gutierrez; brother, Fernando Vigil-Gutierrez; his fiancé, Audriana Montano; god-sister, Brandy Sanchez and husband Clyde; nieces:  Alina, Linyah, and Vinyana and his beloved dog, Simba. Kevin was blessed to have a loving supportive family, including his aunts, uncles, cousins, and his goddaughter, Isabela.

            Kevin graduated from West Las Vegas High School in 2007 and attended Santa Fe and Luna Community College majoring in Green building.  Kevin was employed by Market Street in Santa Fe. Kevin had many friends that witnessed his wonderful, loving personality of giving and helping others in need. He had many hobbies, listening to music, collecting vintage items, remodeling homes, spending time with his family, friends and his best companion Simba.

            Services will be held from Our Lady of Sorrows Church for Kevin and his Dad, Guadalupe, with a rosary on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 9:30 a.m.  A reception will be held at the Parish Hall, 1810 Plaza.  The interment will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Villanueva.. Services will be live streamed on Facebook, oloslasvegas.org, and o U-Tube, Our Lady of Sorrows Las Vegas. Vegas, NM
