Obituary

            Lydia Quintana, age 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 16, 2023.  She loved going to the casinos and gardening.  She enjoyed looking after her great-granddaughter and her beloved dog, Chicky.  She worked at a CNA for 26 years at Vida Encantada Nursing and Rehab Center.

            She is survived by son, David Quintana (Crystal); grand daughter,  Natasha Quintana (Wayne); great-grand daughter Ariana Peralta all of Las Vegas; grandson, David Dominguez of Albuquerque, NM; sisters:  Peggy Sena, Marcella Ramirez, Rebecca Rodriguez all of Clovis, NM, Ernestine Gonzales of Lasa Cruces, NM; brother, Matias Gonzales of Gonzales Ranch, NM; brothers-in-law:  Eddie Quintana (Viola) of Las Vegas, NM,  Martin Quintana (Yvette) of Bernal, NM; sisters-in-law:  Sadie Dawson of Santa Fe, NM and Joan Martinez (Steve) of Rio Rancho, NM, many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.  A special thank you to Vicky Gonzales and Danny, Peggy Sena, Crystal Urioste, David Gonzales, Danny Saiz, and numerous friends and family who have offered their support and assistance during this difficult time.

            Following cremation, services will be held from Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Villanueva, NM by Father Moses Nkwando with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow in the San Isidro/Santa Theresa Cemetery in Gonzales Ranch, New Mexico.
