Marcella C. Salas

Marcella C. Salas, a life long resident of Las Vegas, NM, born January 16, 1940 went to meet with the Lord on Friday, November 30, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eliseo and Candida Ramirez Salas.
She is survived by her daughter, Veronica Montero and husband Crescencio of Los Lunas, NM and grandmother to Edward J. Saavedra, James M. Saavedra, and Candice C. Saavedra and great-grandmother to Noahrey Saavedra; four sisters: Marylou Gallegos and husband Arthur and Eufelia Maria Garcia and husband Lorenzo all of Albuquerque, NM, Carmen Griego and husband Frank of Las Vegas, NM and Cindy Salas and fiancé Juan of Ocate, NM; two brothers: Moises Salas and wife Martha of Ojitos Frios, NM and Alex Salas and wife Jolene of Las Vegas, NM and by numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in St. Francis Chapel at Gonzales Funerals & Cremations, 2315 Hot Springs Blvd. Services will be held from Our Lady of Sorrows Church with a rosary Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. Father Douglas Mitchell will celebrate the Mass. The interment will follow in the San Jose Cemetery.
