Maria Estrella Cervantes

Maria Estrella Cervantes, 89, a resident of Las Vegas, NM for the past 25 years and formerly of Jalisco, Mexico, passed away on Wednesday at her home in the arms of her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents Simon and Natividad Diaz Estrella.
She is survived by her husband, Victor Cervantes of the family home; four daughters: Alejandra Corona and husband Jesus Gutierrez of Jalisco, Mexico; Rosario Prado of Las Vegas, NV, Carmen Cervantes Estrella of Colima, MX, and Petra Montoya and husband Ronald X. Of Albuquerque, NM; three sons, Manuel Cervantes Estrella of Hanford, CA, Marcial Cervantes Estrella and wife Maria of Garden City, KS, and Vicente Cervantes Estrella and companion Lisa of Las Vegas, NM; 32 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and services will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the Kingdom Hall, 2507 Ridge Runner Road. Cremation has already taken place. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to her special spiritual sisters and brothers that she loved so much. Thank you to all our friends and neighbors for their help and generosity in our time of need.
