Martha Romero

 Martha Romero, 82, a resident of Las Vegas, NM, passed away on October 30, 2022. She was the loving mother of her daughter, Bernadette Gold and husband Kenneth; granddaughters:  Angelic Montenegro and husband Pablo, Ashley Fairfield and husband Brandon, and Audrey Gold; great-grandchildren:  Paige Fairfield, Taylor Gold, Kenneth Fairfield, Tanner Gold, Taryn  Miller, and Tristen Gold.

            She was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on August 25, 1940.  She retired from the Dietary Department at the New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute after twenty years of service. She was a kind, caring, and giving person who always put the needs of her family and friends before her own.  She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity.  She was a source if inspiration to us all and she will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church on Friday, November 11, 2022 beginning with a rosary at 8:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial.  Father Rob Yaksich will celebrate the Mass.  The interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
