Mary Dell (Gurule) Gutierrez

Mary Dell Gutierrez,73, a life long resident of Las Vegas, NM passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021.  Mary Dell was born to the late Santiago Gurule and Dolores Cruz on February 19,1948.  Mary Dell was a life long Catholic and was married to Bobby Ray Gutierrez.  She is preceded in death by her parents Dolores and Santiago and her husband Bobby Ray Gutierrez as well as her brothers Amen, Ernest “Gigi” and Jerry.

                She is survived by two sons, John of Las Vegas, NM and Patrick and wife Jenny of Albuquerque, NM; six brothers:  Arturo Gurule (Phyllis), Cayetano (Mary Ann), Dominic, Paul (Anita), Luis (Cathy), and Jose; five sisters:  Mary Lou, Cathy, Elizabeth, Tonita, and Beatrice Paiz; a sister-in-law, Gina Gurule; five grandchildren:  Patrick, Matthew Isabella (Izzy), Claire, and Kaitlyn Gutierrez; three great-grandchlldren:

Emilia, Elianna, and Aayle, and numerous nieces and nephews>

                 A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 p.m in St. Francis Chapel at Gonzales Funerals & Cremations.  A rosary will be recited at Our Lady of Sorrows Church on Tuesday September 7, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated om Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. from the Church. The interment will follow in the Masonic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers:  Dominic Gurule, Mike Gurule, Carlos Urioste, Martin Quintana, Aaron Stroud, and Terry Nelson.  Honorary bearers will be Luis Gurule, Joe Gallegos, Clifford Pekoc,Jerry and James Gurule and Patrick Jiron.
