Monica Therese (Castellano) Tapia

Monica Therese Tapia, 46, a resident of Las Vegas, NM, passed away on March 1, 2022 from complications of Coved 19.  Her husband Joseph “Taco” Tapia preceded her in death also from Covid 19 on December 22, 2021.  She is survived by her parents, John and Grace Castellano; her two children:  Nicholas and Serena Tapia; a sister, Francine Marquez; and a grandson, Josiah Montoya-Tapia.  Monica was a dental assistant and loved her work.  Some of her hobbies included camping, fishing, outdoor activities, spending time with family, working out, cooking, exploring new places, cruising the motorcycle and was very loving and compassionate.

            The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, Marcy 31, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. for both she and her husband Joseph.  Cremation has already taken place.
