Myrna Myrtle (Alford) Gerard

Myrna Myrtle Gerard entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at the age of 95. She was a resident of Vida Encantada Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born on December 15, 1911 in Des Arc, Arkansas. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents William Thomas and Clara Armenta Patterson Alford and her husbands, Edwin Kiser and Herbert Clayton Gerard. She is survived by two daughters: Mary Kathleen Dixon and husband Samuel of Las Vegas, NM and Edwina M. Nelson of Albuquerque; her only son, John Alford Kiser and wife Ella Mae of Floresville, TX; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and a special dear friend, John House. Cremation has already taken place and a private family memorial service celebrating her life will be held in Mineral Hill at the residence of Kathy and Samuel Dixon at a later date.
