NORA GARCIA

Nora Garcia, 90, a resident of Las Vegas, has gone to be with our Lord on Sunday, August 19, 2007. She was surrounded by her niece Rumalda Garcia, nephew Floyd, and Clara, beloved friend and niece. She was preceded in death by her parents, Enriques and Juanita Lopez Garcia; her husband, Cedric Garcia; and three sisters, Barbarita, Lala, and Rosa; and by one brother, Antonio. She is survived by one brother, Luis Garcia and wife Ida of Denver, CO; one sister, Magdalena Urioste of Sheridan, NM and by many nieces and nephews and her dear friends and co-workers. She was born in La Concepcion, NM on May 22, 1917. She was a foster parent for 23 years and loved to go to yard sales, enjoyed dancing and crocheting. Cremation has taken place and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. from St. Francis Chapel at Gonzales Funerals & Cremations, 2315 Hot Springs Blvd. Father C. John Brasher will celebrate the Mass. The interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
