Paul Anthony Vigil, 59, a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on September 28, 2023. In the years that Paul lived, he was so many things to so many people. He was a son, a brother, an uncle, a father, and a friend. Paul truly had a heart of gold, always looking out for others, lending a listening ear, or his arms for his big hugs. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leopoldo and Rosarita “Rose” Vigil; his maternal grandparents Samuel and Genoveva Romero; his brother, Charlie Vigil Jr.; his daughter, Jessica Vigil-Kunz; and numerous aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his parents Charlie and Virginia Vigil; his children: Andrea and Paul Vigil, Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren: Brayden and George of Las Vegas, Nevada; brothers: Patrick and Richard Vigil Sr.; sister, Linda Aragon and husband Donald; the mother of his children Jody Quiles of Las Vegas, Nevada and his girlfriend, Deborah Rodriguez of Las Vegas, Nevada; special nieces and nephews: Angelica Aragon, Maria Lopez and husband Michael, Richard Vigil Jr., special cousin, Robert Romero; aunts Wilma Montoya, Lorenza Vigil, Mary “Stella” Sandoval and uncle Joe Romero. Joe was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing and wind surfing at Storrie Lake and was a carpenter and carpet layer by trade.
Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church on Friday, November 17, 2023 beginning with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Father Rob Yaksich will celebrate the Mass. The interment of the cremated remains will be held at a later date.
