Richard` "Rick"` Vigil

Richard “Rick” Vigil, 62, passed away after a short illness on March 1, 2026.  He was born on August 9, 1963 to Charlie and Virginia Vigil in Las Vegas, New Mexico.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Genoveva Romero and Samuel Romero; his paternal grandparents Leopoldo and Rosarita Vigil; his loving mother, Virginia Vigil; and brothers:  Charlie Jr., Paul, and Patrick.

            He is survived by his father, Charlie Vigil of Las Vegas, NM; sister, Linda Aragon & husband Donald; his sons:  Richard Vigil Jr., Carlos Vigil, Andrew Dimas and wife Christian, and Casimiro Dimas and wife Adriana Serrano; and by nine grandchildren:  Lyric, Aries,

Aaliyah, Alijah, Scarlett, Rosanne, Aiden, Brody, and Joy; and by numerous nieces and nephews, family, and friends.

            The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church The interment will follow at a later date in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
