ROSIE SANDOVAL

Rosie Sandoval, 94, a life long resident of San Isidro Norte, passed away on Saturday at the Santa Fe Care Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rosendo Sandoval Sr., her parents, Teodoro and Marcelina Aragon and sisters Secundina Gonzales and Rita Armijo.She is survived by eight children: Evaristo "Tito" Sandoval and wife Mary Lou of Albuquerque, Tina Gallegos of San Isidro Norte, Flora Valdez and companion Manuel of Las Vegas, NM, Rebecca Gonzales of San Isidro Norte, Celedonio Sandoval and wife Rosemary of Albuquerque, Arturo Sandoval and wife Sadie of San Isidro Norte, Valeria Gonzales and husband Nestor of Commerce City, CO, and Rosendo Sandoval Jr. and wife Viola of San Isidro Norte; two sisters, Elena Aragon and Presciliana Sandoval and husband George all of San Isidro Norte; a granddaughter raised by her, Isabel Sandoval of Albuquerque and also a grandson raised by her, Alvin Sandoval of San Isidro Norte; a close niece, Mamie Gomez and husband Miguel of San Isidro Norte; 32 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 19 great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of the San Isidro Labrador Church in San Isidro Norte, a mission of San Miguel Del Vado Church in San Miguel, NM.
A visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. this evening followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. from St. Francis Chapel at Gonzales Funerals & Cremations and on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. from the San Miguel Del Vado Catholic Church in San Miguel, NM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 11:00 A.M. from the San Miguel Del Vado Church in San Miguel, NM.
