SEVERIANO BEN GRIEGO

Severiano Ben Griego, 94, a resident of Carlsbad, New Mexico and formally of  Anton Chico, New Mexico, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brigido and Julianita Sisneros Griego; sisters:  Veronica Garcia, Socorro Sena, Dulia Archibeque, and Ernestina Griego; and a brother, Luis Griego.

            He is survived by two daughters:  Donna Roybal and Clarabelle Hern both of Albuquerque; and three sons:  Ben Griego, Steven Giego, and Mark Griego all of Albuquerque, NM.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

            Services will be held at the San Jose Church in Anton Chico NM on Tuesday, May 5, 2026  with a Rosary at 1:00 p.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial.  Father Tim Muerer will celebrate the Mass.  The interment will follow in the San Jose Cemetery in Anton Chico, NM.
