Silviano "Silver" Gonzales, 52, a life long resident of Gonzales Ranch, NM passed away Thursday. He was preceded in death by his parents, Silviano Gonzales Sr. And Maria Palmira Cordova Gonzales; one brother, Lizardo Gonzales; four sisters: Lucille Lopez, Louisa Trujillo, Maria Elena Gonzales, and Barbara Rose Gonzales; and a grandson, Enrique Atiliano Gonzales.
He is survived by a daughter, Milagro Gonzales of Gonzales Ranch, NM; three sons: Silviano Gonzales III and companion Michelle Quintana and Carlos Gonzales and companion Jacqueline Encinias all of Albuquerque, NM, and Abran Gonzales and companion April Vasquez of Belen, NM; a step-son, Demetrio Serna of Las Vegas, NM; a step-daughter, Leticia Serna of Albuquerque, NM; five sisters: Priscilla Chavez of Albuquerque, NM, Carmen U. Martinez of Santa Fe, NM, Jane Ramirez of Gonzales Ranch, NM, Jo Ann Gonzales and companion Aurelio Lopez of Pecos, NM, and Irma Gonzales Bernal and husband Ben of Pena Blanca, NM; five grandchildren: Elijah and Esteban Gonzales of Albuquerque, NM, Brooklyn Gonzales of Belen, NM, and Demarus and Laura Lynn Serna of Las Vegas, NM; his life-time partner, Wendy Gonzales of Grants, NM; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was born in Gonzales Ranch, NM on October 12, 1958. He received his associate's degree and was a building contractor, owning and operating Carpenter's Son Construction Company. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. from the El Valle del Cristo Church on Coruco Road in Ribera, NM. By pastor Victor Youtz.
