TRINIDAD L. MARQUEZ
Mrs. Trinidad L. Marquez, 90, a resident of Las Vegas passed away on Thursday at Alta Vista Regional Hospital. She is survived by three sisters: Margaret Sena of Las Vegas, NM, Angeline R. Lucero of Montezuma, NM, and Frances Aragon of Fresno, CA; one brother, Joe L. Lucero of Rawlings, Wyoming; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was born on June 23, 1916 to the late Florencio and Carlota Sanchez Lucero. Prior to her retirement she worked at the V A Hospital in Ft. Lyons, Colorado; and was an inspector at the Jayval Parachute Factory here in Las Vegas. She also worked with Dr. Junius Evans M. D. here in Las Vegas. She was a very charitable person, always thinking of others.
The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated this morning at 9:00 a.m. from the Immaculate Conception Church. The interment followed in the San Jose Cemetery with the following serving as casket bearers: Henry Joe Garcia, Gerard Casillas, Lito Aragon, Christopher Varela, Martin Casillas, and Larry Pacheco. Manuel Sena delivered the eulogy. A rosary was recited by Geraldine Montoya on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. from St. Francis Chapel at Gonzales Funerals & Cremations, 2315 Hot Springs Blvd., 425-9319.
