Virginia S. (Sanchez) Encinias

Viirginia S. Encinias, 94, a long time resident of Montezuma, NM, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Vida Encantada Nursing and Rehab Center. She was preceded in death by her parents: Doroteo And Virginia Martinez Sanchez; her husband, Toribio Encinias Sr.; and a son, Toribio "Toby" Encinias Jr.
She is survived by one son, Fred Encinias and wife Patsy of Montezuma, NM; two daughters: Dorothy Knezevich and husband Howard of Las Vegas, NM and Sally Becenti and husband Albert of Santa Ana, CA; a daughter-kn-law, Reva Encinias of Montezuma, NM and by numerous grand children and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church.
A rosary will be recited on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. from St. Francis Chapel at Gonzales Funerals & Cremations, 2315 Hot Springs Blvd.. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Father Douglas Mitchell will celebrate the Mass. The interment will follow in the Jose, Maria, e Jesus Campesanto in Montezuma with the following grandchildren serving as casket bearers: Jacob Knezevich, Eric Knezevich, Steve Encinias, Alex Encinias, and Aaron Becenti. Judge Michael Vigil will deliver the eulogy.
