Edwina M (Lujan) Lujan

Edwina M. Lujan, 76, a resident of Bloomfield, NM and formerly of Las Vegas, NM, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Christus St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Rafael and Lugarda Montano Lujan, a daughter Gemma M. Esquibel; three brothers, Adonis, Noe, and Duve Lujan; and two sisters:  Bella Lujan and Lesfora Estrada.

She is survived by two sons:  Michael Angel and wife Tabatha of Bloomfield, NM and Raymond Montano of Pueblo, CO; three daughters:  Faye Angel Sanchez of Las Vegas, NM, Ruthie DeAlejandro and husband David of Phoenix, AZ, and Arlene Angel Armijo of Albuquerque, NM; two sisters:  Maria Maestas and Nash Montano both of Las Vegas, NM; 27 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 12:00 noonat the Heart of David Church, 333 Peggy Lane, Las Vegas, NM.  Pastor James Vaughan officiated.  A visitation was held at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The interment followed in Ojitos Frios, NM with the following serving as casket bearers:  Gene Esquibel, James Esquibel, Andrew Sanchez, Aaron Sanchez, Pat Armijo, and Ruben Lujan.
